Info For Interested Visual Artists:

If you are interested in hanging a visual art show at the shops please email us with a sample of your work. We are currently booked through the end of 2009 and are looking to begin booking for 2010.

Terms for Confirmed Visual Artists:
you can hang the show on the 2nd of the month and need to pull it by the 29th at 5pm.

between 10-11:30 in the morn or btwn 2-5pm are the quietest times in the shop.

you are welcome to do an opening if you would like. just check in with me about the date you are interested in so i can check and make sure we dont have anything else going on. If you would like to order some pizzas or appetizers or wine for the opening please check with me. you are not allowed to bring in food or drinks from outside sources.

all promotion is up to you.. the reporter and the pasa tiempo both publish anouncements for art and both need 2 weeks advance notice.

we take 10% if you make any sales to cover our costs.

each piece should have a label by it with a price and contact info... we like to direct folks right to you to make sales rather than handle any $$ transactions.

the art must be pulled by the date determined...we dont have safe places to store work and a new artist will be ready for the walls the next day. If the art is left here it will be donated.

Please email us and confirm that you have read these terms and agree to them.

Info for Interested Bands or Other Performance Groups:

Please email us with a description of your music or show and dates you are interested in playing at Backroad Pizza.

For bands/musicians, we are only booking acoustic type acts at this time, so if you do that great & if your band can wing an acoustic type set we would love to have you

Myspace pages or other online pages with samples are preferred.

Info for Booked Bands or Other Performance Groups:

If you are booked, you are responsible for all Press (we are happy to post it to our web page calendar & post it on our events board at the shop). You are also responsible for providing a door person who can collect any donations that folks give... We have a PA w/ 5 inputs and speakers, but you are responsible for a mic.
